Riding along IH-10 was not bad. I had difficulty because I encountered drizzle and fog. Also, the traffic got a little dicey just south of Boerne. The access road diverts into Boerne and becomes Main Street before returning to IH-10 as the access road. This makes Boerne a great place to grab breakfast!

How was it riding along the access road of I-10? I am thinking of doing this ride with some friends in a few weeks and was looking into the route.

Justin, I enjoyed reading about your trip. As it happens, just yesterday I rode a loop that included the last part of your route, from Boerne to Fredericksburg. I laughed about your search for for the non-existent River Road. Same thing happened to me just west of Waring, when I was looking for a South River Bend Road to take me across the Guadalupe River; it wasn't there, so I backtracked and went up Waring Welfare Road, like you. Hope you enjoy some more of this cool fall weather on your bike.

No worries, Wolfman, I have attended the last two or three MPO meetings and will be attending tonight's meeting as well! I also intend on speaking - as I usually do - during the "Citizens to be heard" segment.
