Great stories. I can identify with building up the miles over the course of a year. I was at a minimum of 26 miles per day, five days a week time 52 weeks a year calculator says 6760 miles. I didn't mean to brag I just never figured out the total for a year until just now.

Like I said "Great stories" I just started a blog and you have inspired me to write more.

Congrats on your own 2K milestone – that rocks. The coldest temp I've commuted in was 26 degrees and that bicycle ride pretty much verified that my clothing options were sadly lacking for such low temps.

Congrats on 2K, Justin. I just stumbled upon your blog while researching the Garmin 705. I will meet my 2K commuter miles goal next week. I live in Minneapolis. The morning rides are getting pretty chilly (24 degrees yesterday).
