He’s battled strong winds and super chilly nights. He’s encountered challenges. Through it all, however, he’s helped and has been helped by complete strangers – a factor which I find so inspiring since it is in such contrast to so much of what we hear about everyday in the news. In my last email correspondence with him he was staying for a few nights at a church in Gonzalez, TX where he was helping to build a web site for a small church and having a nice, warm place to stay in return. Web site development for room and board. Cool.
I’m hoping to share a few miles with Robert when he passes through San Antonio in about a week. If Robert comes through YOUR town, show him some hospitality. Us cyclists need to stick together!
